Nancy York

Dr. Nancy York was a faculty member at Bellarmine University from 1998 – 2006 and returned in 2011. She has also held teaching positions at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr. York was the BSN Department Chairperson in the Donna and Alan Lansing School of Nursing & Health Sciences from 2002 to 2004, the Undergraduate Nursing Coordinator at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Nursing from 2008 – 2010, and currently serves as the Associate Dean. Dr. York earned her Certified Nurse Educator certificate in 2008. In addition, she has served as a Program Evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education since 2011. Dr. York’s research interests focus on tobacco control policies and she has presented her findings both nationally and internationally. Dr. York received her PhD from the University of Kentucky and her MSN and BSN from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
