Dean Dorton is excited to announce that its annual IGNITE Leadership Conference (IGNITE) will be held on July 15 and 16, 2021 in the firm’s new, high-tech, Louisville office location.
Applications for the IGNITE Leadership Conference open on Monday, February 15, 2021. This is the fourth year of the conference and the first time it will be hosted in Dean Dorton’s Louisville office.
“IGNITE is an excellent opportunity for young leaders to learn essential information about the accounting and business consulting profession,” said Jeff Ricketts, Human Resources Manager at Dean Dorton. “It also provides an avenue for our attendees to learn more about our firm. We are excited to host the program in Louisville for the first time this year. Our new Louisville office location will provide plenty of space and resources to provide a safe environment for our attendees.”
The annual IGNITE Leadership Conference, powered by Dean Dorton, is an exclusive two-day conference that gives college students and future leaders of the accounting industry the opportunity to network and learn from industry experts through guided case studies and educational activities.
“IGNITE brings together young leaders who are interested in a career in accounting or professional services, and gives them an opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business,” said Hannah Sadler, IGNITE Program Lead. “Our goal is for attendees to leave with a new level of confidence, skill, and a professional network that can’t be found in the classroom alone.”
IGNITE has a competitive application process, accepting only 15-20 students from across the region to participate on an annual basis. Several attendees of the program graduate to become interns at Dean Dorton, and eventually full-time team members.
