The 2012-2013 Guide to Health-Related Businesses lists health-related businesses in the region, with a focus on those businesses not easily found in other directories. To be included in the guide, a company must have a substantial amount of its business in the healthcare industry and a presence in Louisville’s 27-county economic area (either a traditional or home-based office).
The 2010-2011 Guide to Health-Related Businesses lists companies that are doing business in the healthcare industry in the Greater Louisville area. Companies are divided into the following industry sectors: 1) Administrative, Consulting & IT Services, 2) Associations Government & Media, 3) Banks & Investors, 4) Clinical Services, Outpatient Management & Physician Practices, 5) Education, 6) Health Insurance, 7) Hospital & Long Term Care, 8) Life Sciences, 9) Logistics, Distribution & Manufacturing, and 10) Professional Services.
The 5th edition of the Louisville Family Tree of Health-Related Companies (released in 2011) features 500 locally-founded, health-related companies from the Greater Louisville area. Similar to other family trees, the network's version illustrates relationships and areas of increased "familial" growth among featured companies. This year's edition includes all Louisville-founded companies brought to our attention, regardless of current location or status of operation.
Unique among Health Enterprises Network’s publications, the 2009 Louisville Family Tree of Health-Related Companies showcases Louisville’s extensive health-related business community of locally founded companies. Similar to other family trees, the Network’s version illustrates relationships and areas of increased familial growth among featured companies.
The 2008-2009 Guide to Health-Related Businesses lists health-related businesses in the region, with a focus on those businesses not easily found in other directories. To be included in the guide, a company must have a substantial amount of its business in the healthcare industry and a presence in Louisville’s 25-county economic area (either a traditional or home-based office). Nearly 620 companies, 195 of which are members of the Health Enterprises Network, are listed in the guide.
This guide lists health-related businesses in the region, with a focus on those businesses not easily found in other directories. To be included in the guide, a company must have a substantial amount of their business in the healthcare industry and a presence in Louisville’s 25-county economic area (either a traditional or home-based office). Over 590 companies, 170 of which are members of the Health Enterprises Network, are listed in the guide. (All members of the Health Enterprises Network were included in the guide, regardless of other criteria.)

Each year the Health Enterprises Network identifies legislative issues that may impact our health-related economy. We search for opportunities that benefit from strong leadership by the legislature. Specifically, we support economic development-related initiatives that further the attraction, retention and growth of health-related enterprises throughout Kentucky.
