With a passion for Louisville’s history and a dedication to its future, Ben continues to be inspired to help strengthen and create better opportunities across Louisville Metro. A graduate of the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville, Ben’s first professional gig led him to the Leadership Louisville Center where he worked alongside a talented team to grow civic engagement and professional development. Following that stint in the non-profit world, Ben joined the team at Norton Healthcare to provide marketing support for a variety of service lines, events and branding activities.

For nearly three years now, Ben has proudly served as an Economic Development project manager for his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. With a focus on the logistics and eCommerce, Ben has had the privilege of assisting companies like UPS, EY and W. W. Grainger, in everything from locating or expanding operations to renaming streets. Ben is thrilled to be part of and contribute to a nationally recognized team of economic development professionals at Louisville Forward. Ben looks forward to assisting more companies looking for a strategic advantages and unique partnership opportunities, particularly in the medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory fields.

Ben’s many and varied passions have led him to serve on local and national boards including: Bourbon & Bowties, an annual Children’s Hospital fundraiser, the University of Louisville LGBT Alumni board and the leadership board of Austin-Healey Club of America, an antique sports car club.

Ben is currently renovating a historic home in Louisville’s Highlands neighborhood with his husband,
Dr. Tadd Roberts.
